EARTH (URTH) is a planet with over 70% of its geology under a layer of liquid water. It is the third planet in orbit around the star Sol and is the birthplace of human civilization and technology.

Earth has one satellite, a rocky moon called Luna.

In the Fencepost Period, Earth was most often referred to as The Homeworld. This designation became popular as a counter against the notion - to this day still unproven - that genetic cultivation by the Reticulan humanoid entities was the genesis of humankind. Today, the term Homeworld almost always refers to the entire Solar Territory itself.

The Earth-Gaia project has necessitated no intercourse with the planet. Earth has remained in utter quarantine since 409 N.E.
