The ROSS INVASION was one of the bloodiest battles in Earth's history and succeeded in ending the Err War Proper by wresting the Antarcticas and the Southern Hemisphere from the African Allied States.
Its use of massive deployment of in-flesh units seemed revolutionary at the time. Strategists for centuries have pointed to the Ross Invasion as a key example of the superiority of in-flesh human combatants over mechanized or synthetic-mind war systems.
It is said that the African Allied forces stationed in the Antarcticas were killed to a man and that not a single AA citizen was allowed to live. Such extreme accounts are often wartime exaggerations. In the case of the Ross Invasion, however, it is generally agreed that this was, almost literally, the case.
