ALEM HEMEM is the third planet orbiting the Coral Agency star Aliash.

The world has been host to slight human development since the Fencepost Period. Throughout the War Period Alem Hemem and its two moons were used extensively as waystations for Coral Agency shipping.

Alem Hemem’s moons, roughly identical in size, are called Helsini and Crassmir. Crassmir is famously the birthplace of Coral Agency multifarmer, Alifa Matoo.

CONUS (CO-nus) is one of the four so-called Core Worlds and has a surface covered by ice thousands of meters deep, broken up by many active volcanoes. Conus is the tenth planet in orbit around the star Sigit Ux Artor – more commonly called Arcturu.

Conus has been operated and represented by Coral Agency since the first landing there in 105 N.E. Coral Agency development rights were claimed and vigorously defended during the Conus Blockade in 108 N.E. There are a number of worlds in Sigit Ux Territory more suitable for habitation than the icy Conus. Three of the moons of the gas giant Sapin have bustling economies. But it is this world that has become, in effect, the “Capital Planet” of what has often been a highly centralized political system. One War Period Battlefield Politico (most likely Field Ombusdman Nash of Plummer) quotations| said of the harsh conditions on Conus – a place the officer had almost certainly never visited: “Conus is typical of the whole Coral Agency. They do everything the hard way. And if you try to offer them a better way of doing things, well, they try to kill you, don’t they.”

NATURAL HISTORY

Conus’s major predator is the spathuala. The spathuala is a hardy and aggressive Type 4 Animalia that lives near volcanic vents and feeds continuously.

Core Worlds

The FOUR CORE WORLDS are the planets Aphrophine (Your Agency), Dakka (Your Agency), Borauris Ester (Blue Agency), Conus (Coral Agency), and their moons.

The Core Worlds were colonized during the late Expansion Period and their locations, resources, and development potential were a source of ongoing conflict that continued into the War Period. Each Agency established early, large-scale colonies on these worlds and later expansion and development tended to proceed from these points. The most famous of these conflicts were the First and Second Aphrophine Wars, fought between Your Agency and Blue Agency over control of the golden-green planet Aphrophine. Large areas of Aphrophine were devastated, and made virtually uninhabitable, during these two conflicts. The worlds are traditionally thought of as being the physical meeting point of all the Three Agencies and as a result have often been used – with various degrees of success – as symbols of unity between the Agencies.

The term “Core Worlds” is regularly conflated with “Home Worlds” in common parlance. “Home Worlds” is a Fencepost Period term referring specifically to star Sol and the bodies orbiting it.

SAPIN (sa-PAN, also sa-PEEN) is a gas giant world and is the sixth planet orbiting the Coral Agency star Sigit Ux Artor / Arcturu. It is the second largest planet in that star system.

Sapin has 31 natural moons. The largest three are Rattakang, Sapain Taring, and King Ipsak. The moons of Sapin remained largely undeveloped until the early War Period but are now among the most densely populated in Sigit Ux Artor territories.

The moons of Sapin were recently devastated by an Aniprion AC outbreak, which spread across the entire Sigit Ux Artor sphere.
